Our Makers

Born and raised in Winnipeg, MB, my focus is to be a responsive local maker of pottery, one-of-a-kind acrylic paintings, and other crafts. I am a graduate of the School of Fine Art at the University of Manitoba, having majored in ceramics.
Benson Shapiro Ceramics is focused on texture and rich glazes. Unique imprints make each piece feel special. The clay body is a mid-fire clay, fired between 2100 - 2200°F. Pieces are food safe and can be put in the dishwasher.
