Born and raised in Winnipeg married to Julie with two sons Nick and Luke. Grandfather to Anders and Ozzy. Art life: always enjoyed drawing as a youth but sports took all my time and energy Played all sports through high school but got serious about volleyball in university. Seven years later after travelling throughout Canada and the world l retired from Canadian National Volleyball Team to begin my career as a Phsy-ed teacher and coach. 36 years later l retired to pursue a new interest, painting.
About 12 years ago I went to an art teacher workshop on watercolours All the love I had for drawing as a kid that was put on hold came rushing forward. I started small with cards and watercolours but in the last few years am painting large canvasses in acrylic. My love of art has flourished and my wife and I have journeyed through every major art gallery in the world. My cards are photos of my acrylic canvasses and watercolours but definitely geared to tourists wanting a different view of the city or anybody simply wishing a unique Art or Xmas card. My style definitely leans toward the impressionists but I just paint till I feel it is right!
