Our Makers

Her grandmothers helped foster her love of crafts when they began teaching her how to knit and crochet at the age eight. Owner and maker Shantel then started Hook & Barrel in January of 2016, after her second year of law school and making holiday gifts for friends and family.

Currently Shantel practices law and continues to grow Hook & Barrel.

Hook & Barrel makes cozy handmade knit and crochet items, like toques, scarves, and scrunchies. Items are made with wool blends or vegan-friendly yarn.
