“Going back to Basics.”

Sarah and Laurianne, a sister-in-law duo from Winnipeg, combined their creative talents to form The Ba.sic Shoppe. The brand showcases abstract digital prints designed by Laurianne, and textile home goods handmade by Sarah. Their inspiration comes from a cultivated interest in contemporary art and design, as well as shapes, colours and textures found in natural environments. Their goal is to create thoughtful pieces used to enhance spaces and the way we feel within them. Each piece offers a simple and minimalistic aesthetic which allows clients to easily integrate ba.sic into their own home.
